Outdoor media owner Clear Channel wanted to raise awareness of new NFC technology, which allows consumers to interact with outdoor ad locations, particular bus shelters where dwell time is high. Could we prompt more people to discover the capability of their smartphones to do this?
In partnership with their creative agency Creative Orchestra, Will and the team at Harkable built this web app quiz which offered entry into a prize draw for everyone who completed it. There were different questions each day and a new chance to win.
We created the quiz in-browser to avoid any barriers to entry that would have been inevitable with a native app, and this kept it device-agnostic too. Users simply tapped on the NFC point to initiate the quiz and could complete it on the move, even if their bus came!
